Tap is a mobile app that allows anyone to find nearby places to refill their water bottle to reduce the amount of single-use plastic ending up in our oceans. Halifax was the pilot city for this startup and they wanted to create some buzz and awareness.
We covered Halifax’s iconic wave sculpture in thousands of plastic bottles to visually show the negative impact single-use plastics have on our oceans. Because this is such a high-traffic area in Halifax, the stunt turned a bunch of heads and got a ton of press.
